Pension Tracing Service
Did you Know, there is an estimated £26 billion of unclaimed pension funds?
As we go through various life events like changing jobs, relocating to new homes, or even witnessing our former employers undergo changes in ownership or closure, keeping tabs on your pension savings can be a complex task. Pension tracing is an essential service to consider, given how these life changes can make it challenging to stay connected with your valuable pension assets.
Your personal details will be securely assessed based on the information you provide through our form, based on the information you’ve provided and the types of pensions you have. Based on this assessment, we will either refer your case to a qualified financial adviser (for pension pots exceeding £50,000), or recommend our partner service, Pension Pie, which offers a paid pension tracing solution.
If your pension pots total more than £50,000, a qualified adviser will carry out a comprehensive pension tracing investigation, in line with FCA requirements, on your behalf. This service aims to locate any lost or frozen pensions and provide professional advice on managing these assets, including potential consolidation where appropriate. There are no charges for the initial consultation or the pension tracing investigation. Should you proceed with any advice, fees will be clearly explained by the advising firm.
For pension pots under £50,000, we may recommend Pension Pie, a paid tracing service that costs £225 for up to 5 pensions. Pension Pie can trace all types of pensions, including Defined Benefit (DB) schemes, NHS and Civil Service pensions, SIPPs, and more.
